Enrollment Based on Parent Employment
Within specific guidelines and capacity limits set forth in PVPUSD Administrative Regulation 5111.12, Residency Based on Parent/Guardian Employment, District residency status may be granted to a student, on a space available basis, if at least one parent/guardian is physically employed within PVPUSD boundaries for a minimum of 15 hours per week during the normal school day (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.)
The District shall place admitted students at a site or in a class in which there is available space, which may result in the student not being placed in the parent/guardian's first choice.
For all students enrolled pursuant to this regulation, Miraleste Intermediate School shall be deemed the student’s intermediate school of residence without regard to whether the student initially enrolled during elementary school or intermediate school.
A determination of space availability by grade level and program, will be made on or before the Friday of the first full week of school for the year.

Applications will be accepted by mail beginning March 19, 2012.
